The Role: Risk Specialist plays a crucial part in safeguarding campaigns on our platform by detecting potential risks, conducting thorough investigations, and continuously improving detection systems.
We empower social justice movements globally, having raised over $200M across 35,000 campaigns in 23 countries. We're seeking an experienced Risk Specialist to join our Trust and Safety team.
About the Position- Identify potential campaign risks through reviews of new fundraising campaigns and ongoing monitoring for upcoming risks.
- Investigate flagged campaigns by examining community complaints and providing empathetic support to customers and stakeholders.
- Systematize learnings by refining automated detection systems and processes.
- 3-5+ years of experience in fraud, risk, trust & safety, or payments roles.
- Experience or familiarity with customer due diligence, AML/CTF/KYC regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a process-oriented, curious mindset.
- High level of empathy, integrity, and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
