ERM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change team in Sydney/Melbourne. We welcome both technical and generalist candidates with the following skills to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clients and projects to deliver exceptional results and client satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and/or business partners, applying strategic thinking to influence decision-makers and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent writing and presentation skills, and a mastery of impactful client communication.
  • Manage other service teams on opportunities, proposals, projects, and marketing/business activities across the team, the company, and globally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, economics, engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • 2+ years of consulting experience.
  • Understanding of current trends in renewable energy, decarbonization strategies, and low-carbon economy transition.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work products.
  • Personal resilience and flexibility to navigate through ambiguity and conflicting priorities while delivering results under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Climate Active Registration.
  • Prior LCA experience.
  • Prior project management experience in consulting.
  • Experience in climate risk assessment and scenario analysis.
