We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to manage the procurement of steel products. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials that meet our quality and operational standards.
About the Role- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for steel products
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and support sales forecasting
- Identify, evaluate, and manage international supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts
- Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Shipping, Warehouse, etc.)
- Report on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and cost savings
- 3-5 years experience in procurement or purchasing
- Steel industry experience
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management and sourcing practices and processes
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and divisions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing market conditions
