As a groundwater modelling team leader, you will be responsible for leading a national virtual team of experts across multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing virtual team of groundwater modellers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with state-based leaders to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan aligned with global priorities, working closely with technical discipline managers and hydrogeology directors.
  • Contribute to a robust backlog and pipeline of work through technical excellence and strong client relationships.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects that meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 7–20+ years of industry experience as a hydrogeologist, including consultancy experience, and an appropriate engineering or science tertiary qualification.

Requirements
  • Technical expertise in numerical modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, groundwater impact assessment, and hydrogeological investigation.
  • Strong understanding of Australian groundwater legislation and guidelines related to resource development and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large technical projects, particularly complex groundwater modelling projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
