Logistics and Procurement Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced logistics and procurement leader to lead our supply chain team, manage complex procurement processes, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing supply chain team to drive operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain Manager, Procurement, Transport, Planning, and Warehouse Operations.
  • Manage purchasing processes, monitor key supplier performance, and work closely with customers.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and principles.
  • Work with Warehouse Operations Managers to standardize processes and improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Drive the introduction of new tools and processes to optimize stock use across the network.

Requirements:

  • Years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, or supply chain sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements.
  • Knowledge of Australian Import/Export Legal frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with operational focus.
  • Familiarity with Pronto ERP is desirable.
