Job Title: Special Needs Transport Driver

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious drivers to transport special needs children in the Newcastle region.

This is a casual position working during NSW school terms, involving morning and afternoon shifts. Successful applicants may be offered up to 15 hours of work per week to relieve staff absences.

Key responsibilities include safely transporting children to and from school using company-provided vehicles, as well as maintaining accurate records of trips and duties performed.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, respect, honesty, and integrity, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support for our students.

While prior experience is not essential, applicants must demonstrate relevant skills and qualities necessary for this role, including a clean driving record, a Class C licence or above, and a current first aid certificate.

Other requirements include:

  • Clean Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Class C Licence or above (held for 2 years or more)
  • Current First aid certificate (or willingness to undergo training)
