Sheetmetal Fabrication Professional

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill a Sheetmetal Fabrication Apprentice position in our dynamic workshop environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning new skills and working collaboratively as part of a team. As a Sheetmetal Fabrication Apprentice, you will work under the direction of experienced supervisors and be responsible for:

  • Production, manufacture and repair of a wide range of light metal products
  • Use specialist equipment and a range of hand and power tools
  • General workshop duties
  • Welding and fabrication tasks
  • Interpret drawings and designs

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A good eye for detail and focus on quality workmanship
  • Demonstrate passion, a strong work ethic & a hands-on approach to work
  • Previous experience using light power tools is highly regarded

This position offers the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (SM) and gain valuable industry experience with a leading manufacturing company. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate II in Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and science
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
