Subsea Project Leader

We are looking for a seasoned project engineer to lead our subsea projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in executing project work scopes and collaborating with clients.

  • They must be able to work with the project manager and lead engineers to ensure delivery meets safety, quality, and commercial standards.
  • Evaluating emerging and existing engineering technologies to integrate them into projects is a key requirement.
  • Executing work packages and supervising project and graduate engineers through design review and offshore execution is also essential.
  • Managing subcontractors and equipment manufacturers, including preparing documentation and overseeing Site Integration Tests (SIT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), is a critical part of this role.

Key Requirements:

  • A proven track record in subsea/offshore engineering and project delivery.
  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical, mechatronic, structural, or ocean engineering, or naval architecture.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project, as well as experience with specialist software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • A full driver's license.
  • The ability to obtain an offshore survival course and pass the associated medical exam.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a full, valid work visa.
