Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our team at our Ballarat facility. Reporting directly to the State Total Waste Manager, you will be responsible for managing operations and supervising a team of 5 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of 5 staff members
  • Manage weekly staff rosters and coordinate team activities
  • Ensure depot cleanliness, safety, and organisation
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings
  • Prepare and submit safety and inventory reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with managers, staff, and clients
  • Drive workplace safety culture and compliance
  • Collaborate across business units to achieve operational goals

Requirements:

  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated safety-first approach and commitment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment
  • Must successfully complete a police background check
