Leads a team of professionals responsible for managing environmental and regulatory services within a local government area. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures council compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the management of food premises inspections and assessments.
  • Oversees maintenance of council property assets, including inspections of council buildings and management of handyman/trades assistant personnel.
  • Manages council's responsibilities related to the local airport.
  • Reviews and processes new building and plumbing applications submitted to council by private certification companies.
  • Ensures water and sewerage operational requirements are met to maintain compliance standards.
  • Monitors local legislation for compliance purposes.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
