Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading the technology direction for multiple projects and guiding teams through complex development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend architecture concepts that align with business objectives.
  • Establish a cohesive vision for system architecture and communicate it effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze project requirements and determine the impact on system architecture.
  • Evaluate the need for architecture changes and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
  • Ensure lead developers and designers are familiar with application, software, and infrastructure technology assets, standards, and requirements.
  • Assist in identifying patterns, techniques, tools, and processes that contribute to effective project execution.
  • Develop and recommend new processes, tools, and technologies that improve the system and its architecture.
  • Develop and execute technical test plans and protocols to ensure architecture changes are working properly.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of implementing cloud services in distributed computing environments.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including EC2, ELB, RDS, Aurora, MSK, ESK, VM, AKS, Flexible Server, and Event Hubs.
  • Proven experience with large-scale migration projects from data centers to cloud.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting, such as Shell, Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
  • Sound practical experience with Linux and Windows-based systems administration in cloud or virtualized environments.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and strong relationship management abilities.
  • Experience in full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
