The successful candidate will have a background in security operations and risk management, ideally in a global multisite environment. You will possess demonstrated experience developing and maintaining security and safety policies and procedures. Experience in physical security or safety incident management, including post-incident reviews, is also highly valued. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to effectively communicate safety and security information to diverse audiences. Knowledge of relevant safety and security regulations, standards, and best practices is also necessary.

You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Canva's campus safety and security policies and procedures. This includes leading the maintenance of these policies to ensure they remain effective and relevant. You will also support our security and safety incident management and response delivery, investigating and reporting on safety and security incidents as needed. Additionally, you will partner with our teams to develop and deliver safety and security training programs for our workforce and campuses, including emergency response procedures.
