Opportunity to Make a Difference

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to join our team in Blackwood Op Shop. If you love fashion, homewares, and op-shopping, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This role supports Save the Children, Australia's leading child rights organisation. We work with families and communities to ensure every child can reach their potential.
This is a chance to make a positive difference in the world as a volunteer retail assistant. You will have the opportunity to:
- Sort through our stock
- Dress shop windows
- Help and chat with customers
We provide all necessary training, including using the register. Ideally, you will be available to volunteer 1-3 days per week, either full day or half-day shifts. All activities are Centrelink approved.
No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and make a difference. Whether you're seeking retail work experience, recently retired, looking to meet new people, or anything in between, we'd love you to join our brilliant volunteer team.
As a volunteer retail assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of children and families in need.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently. You'll also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask effectively.
