About the Role
As Head of People and Culture, you will be responsible for leading a small team of HR Business Partners and People & Culture Coordinators to provide support to the business leaders in all people matters. You will partner with senior leadership to provide strategic advice and insights on people-related matters, helping to drive decision-making and organisational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small team of HR Business Partners and People & Culture Coordinators
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic advice and insights on people-related matters
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Lead the development and implementation of People and Culture policies, programs, and initiatives
- Develop and oversee projects from entering new markets to system initiatives
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Drive the recruitment process, ensuring attraction and retention of top talent
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture, promoting initiatives that celebrate diversity and create opportunities for all employees to thrive
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, career development, and offboarding
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR leadership roles
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a dynamic and high-growth company
- Strong expertise in ER/IR, WHS, and team development
- Strong background designing and rolling out Leadership and Development programs
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- A strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving
- A commitment to championing diversity, inclusion, and servant leadership principles
- Experience in scaling up a company
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and regulations
- Ideal experience in retail, both bricks and mortar and online
