Civil Project Manager - Senior

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team in Mackay. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Manage and supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, including identifying, assessing, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement project documentation, including reports, minutes, and other relevant documents.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in civil project management, with a strong background in road construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software, including project management tools, CAD, and other relevant software.
