About the RoleThis is a newly created opportunity for a Project Controls Specialist looking to diversify their resume. As the Project Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for managing project costs, identifying cost and schedule risks, managing change and progress, coordinating effectively across a multi-disciplined team, and delivering project status reports to Project Managers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Update and analyze project cost data, including budgets, actual costs, and forecasts, and prepare detailed cost reports to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including fully resourced loaded activities, critical path methodology, and logically linked tasks.
- Track, monitor, measure, and report on the progress of the project throughout its entire lifecycle using Earned Value Analysis techniques.
- Implement and oversee project control processes, such as change management procedures, to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
- Facilitate risk management activities, identifying and reporting on potential cost and schedule risks, and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain project documentation and records.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Specialist who thrives in a dynamic and agile environment. You will have a high level of business and commercial acumen, excellent communication and time management skills, and a commitment to data accuracy. You will also have experience utilizing Primavera P6 or a project planning software, experience using SAP, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
