We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on a senior role in electrical engineering.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to commissioning, collaborating with contractors and consultants. They will also work closely with Principal/Lead Engineers to drive project design and support the growing Electrical team.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems and be able to apply this knowledge to complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design projects from concept to commissioning
  • Collaborate with contractors and consultants
  • Work closely with Principal/Lead Engineers to drive project design
  • Develop and review technical project deliverables
Requirements
  • 10 years of expertise in electrical design engineering
  • Strong understanding of earthing, protection, cable, and HV design
  • Proficiency in applying Australian Standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS2067, AS62271
  • Current RPEQ/CPEng certification
  • Australian work rights
