Curriculum Area LeadThis is a key leadership role responsible for leading and managing the curriculum area at a middle school level. The successful candidate will have expertise in Humanities and be able to lead teachers and staff to develop and implement high-quality curriculum programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the curriculum area team to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Work with teachers and staff to develop and maintain high-quality teaching practices.
  • Develop and implement assessment and evaluation strategies to measure student learning.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their practice.
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide policies and procedures related to curriculum and teaching.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing curriculum areas in a middle school setting.
  • Expertise in Humanities and ability to lead teachers and staff in this area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Familiarity with curriculum frameworks and standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
