Job Title: Lead Geologist - Mineral Resource Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mineral resource estimation and geological modeling to join our esteemed team. This exceptional individual will lead the development of cutting-edge resource models for various deposit types, while fostering collaboration with metallurgy teams and consultants.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement geostatistical methods (Kriging, Indicator Kriging, LUC) for reliable resource estimation.
  • Conduct geometallurgical modeling to inform metallurgical process planning.
  • Ensure JORC compliance for copper grade estimation.
  • Supervise a technical team, driving project efficiency and adherence to QAQC standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.
  • Experience: 7+ years in resource estimation and leadership roles.
  • Proven analytical skills, problem-solving expertise, and proficiency in technical reporting.

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate: Leapfrog, Isatis or Supervisor, MS Office Suite.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English (oral and written).

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, permanent employment.
  • Asia-based location with potential site travel.
