Rex (Regional Express) is seeking a skilled professional to join its Technical Publications team as a Technical Publications Assistant. This full-time role is based at the company's Sydney head office in Mascot.

In this position, you will work closely with the Flight Operations Management Team to develop and maintain various forms of company documentation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, produce, and publish amendments to the Rex Group Manuals with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop documentation to meet training requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Document Control Database and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Create and/or complete amendments to ancillary documentation, including user manuals and instructional guides.
  • Distribute third-party documentation to external vendors and ensure that all documentation is properly tracked and managed.
  • Update aircraft libraries as required, including the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain the Flight Crew Notices Webpage and Airport Advisory Webpage, ensuring that all information is accurate and easily accessible.

Selection Criteria:

  • High level of computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, including Framemaker, and common document management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work accurately unsupervised when required.
  • Strong team working skills, with the ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, when required, and be willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in technical documentation, content development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of document management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
