Lead Veterinarian Role

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to lead and learn as a veterinarian at a regional referral centre, where you will be supported by experienced professionals and cutting-edge technology.

You will encounter a diverse range of cases, from routine wellness checks to complex surgeries, and have the opportunity to work autonomously in a sole charge capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years post-graduate experience, strong clinical skills, sound judgment and the ability to manage emergency presentations independently.

  • Dog attacks and blocked cats demand swift action.
  • Poisonings and snake bites necessitate prompt treatment.
  • Car accidents and urgent presentations call for decisive action.
Our Centre

What You'll Need

This position is best suited to a veterinarian with a minimum of five years post-graduate experience, who is confident managing a variety of emergency presentations independently.

Applicants must be eligible for veterinary registration with the relevant board.

Strong clinical skills, sound judgment and the ability to work autonomously in a sole charge capacity are essential for success in this role.
