The Opportunity
We're seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our Wealth Connect team, helping design and support technical solutions that meet client needs. As a Business Development Analyst, you'll work closely with the Product and Technology teams, making a significant contribution.
You'll be part of a diverse team in a dynamic company, collaborating with a high-performing team.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate business processes and user requirements to translate needs into user stories, functional and/or technical specifications.
- Document user stories, requirements analysis, and specifications to support product feature design and development.
- Align documentation with system specifications to optimise design and development outcomes.
- Identify and curate client requirements impacting system configurability and product sustainability.
- Define acceptance criteria to enable effective testing.
- Execute unit integration and acceptance testing to ensure business needs are met.
- Provide supporting documentation for product features to support releases, including release notes and user guides.
- Manage competing resources and priorities.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Desired Skills and Experience
You will be someone with:
- Understanding of and experience working with Salesforce.
- Domain knowledge and experience in the wealth management sector.
- A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis in technology environments.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
