Heavy Diesel Maintenance Technician

We're seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Field Services team, performing scheduled major shutdown work on large-scale excavators and drills across WAIO mine sites in the Pilbara Region. This is a hands-on, roaming field-based role requiring strong mechanical expertise and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting major shutdown maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile mining equipment, adhering to safety standards, procedures, and OEM specifications.
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and rectifying mechanical faults efficiently.
About You
- Essential experience working on large mobile mining equipment (Liebherr 9800, 9400, Komatsu, Cat 6090, 7495, 6060, Hitachi EX8000, EX5600, Epiroc drills) is crucial.
- Strong shutdown and field service experience in the mining sector is required.
- A strong safety focus and ability to work well in a team are essential.
