Job Description
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of our heavy earthmoving fleet. This includes providing support to our rental fleet as required, working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget, and working with our customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
- Experience as a Supervisor in open cut mining.
- A recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification.
- A high level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on team and company culture.
- A current Australian Driver's License (HR is preferable).
- A High Risk Licence (is preferable) but we also offer in-house training.
