We are currently seeking skilled Trade Assistants to join our dynamic workshop team in Thornton, NSW. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the installation of various construction materials and products.Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of CFC flooring
  • Steel frames and trusses installation
  • Installation of Fyrecheck/Ballistic sheeting
  • Wall and roof insulation
  • External/internal cladding and flashings installation
  • Custom doors installation
  • Collaboration with Electricians and Boilermakers when necessary
  • Quality checks on finished products
  • Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of designated workplace and site
Requirements
  • Strong experience within construction/carpentry industry as a Trade Assistant or similar
  • Previous experience in residential or modular construction
  • Ability to interpret drawings and work off sketches when required
  • Ability to use range of workshop machinery and power tools
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of team
  • Attention to detail
  • Personal hand tools (required)
  • Driver's license (required)
  • Forklift, Boom & Scissor, dogman, confined Space tickets an advantage
