About the Role

The Employment Coach is a key position within Workskil Australia Ltd, responsible for delivering high-quality employment services to our customers. This role involves case management, vocational skills development, and job placement to support individuals in achieving sustained economic and social self-reliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized employment plans to meet customer needs and goals.
  • Conduct vocational assessments and provide guidance on career development and job placement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers to secure job placements and promote our services.
  • Deliver group-based job search sessions to motivate and support customers in their job search.
  • Monitor and report on customer progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development.
  • Experience in employment services, vocational training, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving customer outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in data entry and typing.
