Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Officer - Home Support to join our team. As a Care Officer, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living support, personal care, and general house cleaning to clients
  • Assist with shopping, respite, and social support, as well as other requirements specified in client care plans
  • Follow client support plans and report any changes observed to the Care at Home Coordinator
  • Provide basic clinical care, including wound dressing, assisting with medication delivery, and recording basic clinical observations
  • Liaise with families and health professionals to ensure all client needs are met

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Aged or Community Care
  • Previous experience within the aged care sector (desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Full Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance
  • The ability to work weekends
