Wilson Security is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Security Officer to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of clients, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have a professional physical presence. Previous retail experience is highly desirable, as is the ability to manage youths and challenging patron interactions calmly and safely.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors and clients
  • Monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems to ensure seamless building operations
  • Conducting regular building patrols to identify and report potential security and safety risks
  • Assisting tenants and facilities teams with ad-hoc duties and tasks
  • Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
  • Responding to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and previous retail experience
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a rotational roster, including nights, days and weekends
