Job Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Perth.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills and the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of clients and foster the development of others within the broader team.

This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Guide, collaborate with, and reflect with junior staff members or students.
  • Review junior staff members' or students' reports and documentation.
  • Conduct weekly scheduled contact (phone or face-to-face) with junior staff members or students.

About You

We are looking for a person with:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in delivering person-centered Occupational Therapy services.
  • Demonstrated at least 3 years' clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation, and/or pediatrics.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Current and valid Working with Children and Police Checks.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
  • The ability to work independently.
