
Leading Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Perth.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills and the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of clients and foster the development of others within the broader team.
This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
- Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
- Guide, collaborate with, and reflect with junior staff members or students.
- Review junior staff members' or students' reports and documentation.
- Conduct weekly scheduled contact (phone or face-to-face) with junior staff members or students.
About You
We are looking for a person with:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in delivering person-centered Occupational Therapy services.
- Demonstrated at least 3 years' clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation, and/or pediatrics.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Current and valid Working with Children and Police Checks.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
- The ability to work independently.
