Research Fellow - Mental Health Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to work with our team at Deakin University's School of Psychology. As a Research Fellow, you will contribute to the development and implementation of co-designed interventions to improve the mental health of frontline healthcare workers and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead research activities, including ethics applications, recruitment, and communicating findings with the target cohort.
- Develop clinical translation activities, including intervention manuals and clinical practice guidelines.
- Oversee project budget and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare organizations, workers, partners, and family members.
- Collect, analyze, and enter data related to young people, maintaining ethical guidelines.
- PhD in a relevant discipline and/or relevant qualifications and experience.
- Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and exhibitions.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including budget management and timeline maintenance.
- Able to liaise with research partners and manage complex client expectations.
- Clinical skills in mental health-related disciplines would be an advantage.
- Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain.
