Senior Wills and Estates Lawyer

We are seeking an accomplished lawyer to lead our estate planning and administration team.

The Opportunity

A high-quality opportunity exists for a talented and experienced wills & estates lawyer to join our practice.

You will work on complex estate planning and administration matters for a loyal and growing client base.

Key Features of the Role

Lead a high-quality mix of estate planning and administration matters with autonomy and challenge.

Deliver strategic, commercially focused legal advice to clients.

Manage estate administration from asset realisation through to distribution.

Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring around 10 years' experience in:

  • Advising on complex estate planning, including succession of trust structures and SMSFs.
  • Business succession planning.
  • Drafting wills, testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney, grant applications and letters of administration.
  • Managing estate administration from asset realisation through to distribution.
  • Delivering strategic, commercially focused legal advice to clients.
  • Participating in business development activities to help grow the practice.
  • Advanced drafting skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to managing matters end-to-end.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach.
