The Care Team Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents at all times. This position supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in supervising and coordinating care to residents across the facility, while actively ensuring the individual needs, wishes, and goals of each resident are met in a supportive and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Social and Emotional Support: Ensure that care provision is holistic and person-centered, providing emotional support to all residents.
- Coordinate Care Needs: Support the coordination of care needs of residents across the facility, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, and pressure care management.
- Lead and Supervise Care: Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas, ensuring that care is delivered to the highest standard.
- Perform Medicine-Related Tasks: Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and Calvary policies and procedures.
- Relevant Qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.
- Commitment and Integrity: High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Effective Communication: Effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
- Technical Skills: Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required.
- Certifications: Current National police check and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
- Personal Qualities: Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.
