We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated students to join our team as Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing or Midwifery. As a RUSON or RUSOM, you will support our nursing and midwifery teams in delivering safe, personal, effective, and connected care.
You will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife at all times, within your level of education and assessed competencies, and under clearly defined role parameters.
About YouWe are looking for students who are eager to learn, dedicated, empathetic, and adaptable. You will:
- Be enrolling in the second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or a Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery or other double degree with Bachelor of Nursing component, with student registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA) via AHPRA
- Be able to provide a transcript of evidence of successful completion of first year undergraduate Nursing/Midwifery studies in a University in Australia (if currently in first year, please send evidence from Semester 1)
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including relationship building, team cooperation, and conflict resolution
- Have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with a wide range of people, including co-workers, health professionals, residents, patients, and family members
