Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Uniting AgeWell Box Hill. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with complex needs. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, in collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Lead and support a team of Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, providing guidance and education as needed.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Div 1).
- Experience in residential aged care or home care, with a preference for those with dementia care and palliative care experience.
- Proficiency in decision-making, critical analysis, and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
