Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our Social Media team. Based in Sydney, this role will involve managing and executing our social media strategy across all current and emerging social channels.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media and cinema, as well as strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. They will be responsible for developing and curating engaging content for all social media platforms, both paid and organic, as well as achieving engagement on social media posts through creative copywriting.

In addition, the successful candidate will report on social media trends and monitor competitor activity to maximise our social media presence and campaign effectiveness. They will also work with distributors to develop content promoting upcoming movies, with the goal of converting engagements into ticket sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms
  • Achieve engagement on social media posts through creative copywriting
  • Report on social media trends and monitor competitor activity
  • Work with distributors to develop content promoting upcoming movies
  • Collaborate with the Promotion and Communications team to create and manage a social media calendar
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics and campaign success

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has a degree in marketing or experience with social media, as well as knowledge of social media platforms and strategies. The ideal candidate will also have excellent planning and organisation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy. They will be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
