We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to join our team in the Logan district. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
About the Job:
You will work independently with clients, providing a range of services that cater to their individual needs and preferences. This may include domestic cleaning, assistance with daily activities, transport to appointments, and engaging in social activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality home care services to clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Experience working in aged care or a related field, preferably in home care.
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
- Police check and annual flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
