
Electrical Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our electrical services department, you will play a crucial role in the construction, assembly, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Electrical Panel Construction and Assembly
- Troubleshooting Motor Control Systems and Industrial PLC Control Systems
- Providing Support for Electrical Equipment Installation
- Ability to Read and Work from Electrical Schematic Drawings
- Producing Electrical Drawings on CAD
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to take ownership of your work and contribute to the larger team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A certificate or diploma in higher engineering trade
- 10+ years' proven experience in electrical design, commissioning control systems, and troubleshooting motor control systems
- A current NSW Electrical Licence
- A safety-first approach with strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- BASIC TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL PLC AND HMI SOFTWARE SKILLS
- Familiarity with industrial sensors and signalling
- ELECTRONIC SKILLS - PCB ASSEMBLY, TROUBLESHOOTING, CIRCUIT DRAWING INTERPRETATION
