As a clinical manager working with the core care team, you will strive to provide outstanding care to our residents, promoting individualised support that enhances and promotes their quality of life. You will oversee a team of care staff, empowering them through learning, support, and leadership to advance the level of service to your residents.

You will work in conjunction with your manager, ensuring governance and quality compliance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards.

At our aged care community, we offer a welcoming and vibrant environment in the heart of Sandgate. Set inside a larger campus, securely tucked behind lush gardens, our Home is accessible by public transport and is in close proximity to shops, restaurants, the library, Post Office, shopping mall and aquatic centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical services under the direction of the Clinical Care Manager
  • Coordinate and evaluate individual resident care within the scope of practice and ensure it aligns with policies and procedures
  • Conduct staff competency assessments and contribute to staff training
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation, including care plans, clinical assessments, and progress notes
  • Liaise with the CCM to ensure resident care outcomes are met
  • Provide person-centered resident care, prioritizing social, emotional, spiritual, and recreational needs
  • Maintain high standards of care management and nursing interventions
  • Monitor medication management and assist with 24-hour progress notes review
  • Promote harmonious interpersonal relations with residents, families, and staff
  • Model and actively support the value proposition: living with support and upholding our core values
