Job DescriptionA highly skilled Financial Accountant is required to join our Corporate Finance Division for a 6-month maximum-term opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager - Financial Reporting and the wider Corporate Finance and Group Accounting teams.
This role involves assisting with month-end reporting and analysis, including reconciliations of intercompany transactions from a group perspective and liaising with stakeholders to resolve balance mismatches. Additional responsibilities include preparing annual consolidated financial statements, coordinating external and internal audits, and developing accounting policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background, preferably with experience in big four accounting firms or corporate/group accounting roles. They should also be proficient in using SAP and/or Pronto, and have hands-on experience in accounting and reporting for multinational/multicurrency operations and complex intercompany reconciliations.
Key Skills and Qualifications- CA/CPA qualified with tertiary accounting qualification.
- Prior audit experience beneficial, ideally 2-3 years of demonstrated accounting experience in big four accounting firms or up to 3 years' experience in corporate or group accounting roles.
- Hands-on experience in accounting and reporting for multinational/multicurrency operations and complex intercompany reconciliations preferred.
- Proficient use of Excel (mid to high level) and proficiency in cash flow preparation and understanding skills.
