Higher Education Administrator

About the Role:
The Higher Education Administrator will work as part of the Higher Education Directorate's administration team, providing efficient and effective administration support to both Vocational Education and Higher Education programs.
This role focuses on supporting the Higher Education courses within the Directorate, ensuring the implementation of the institute's policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will provide high-level customer service while maintaining strict confidentiality of information regarding the personal records of students, the content of examinations, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of the Student Life Cycle within the Business & Construction department, ensuring strong relationships between Melbourne Polytechnic students and employers.
- Provide high-level customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring accurate and timely information is disseminated to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders and departments across the Melbourne Polytechnic network.
Requirements:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in administrative support roles preferably in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated high-level administrative and organizational skills, including document presentation, drafting, and formatting, as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or willingness to learn.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
