Job Summary:

MedHealth is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our occupational rehabilitation team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping individuals return to work after injury or illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads and provide case management services to injured workers
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Complete assessments using clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing
  • Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
  • Excellent time management skills - ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • Desire to problem solve with confidence to be innovative, use initiative and achieve results
  • Passion for injury prevention, return to work, and associated health benefits
  • Energy and drive to grow our services
  • Current driver's licence and access to own vehicle
