Job Overview

The Operations Shift Manager is a critical role that requires leading a team of associates within our delivery network. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motivating, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve exceptional safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Amazon associates by fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards while promoting a proactive approach to risk management and employee well-being.
  • Collaborate with support teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools and methodologies.

A Day in the Life: As an inspiring leader, you will work to enhance the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience as a manager, involving sizable teams; you're a natural at building strong relationships and motivating others around you.
- Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities: conducting and driving analysis on complex processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship.
