About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Analytics Manager to lead our Investment Performance Analytics team at Perpetual Asset Management Australia boutique. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and enhancing Investment Analytics (Performance & Attribution) services to support the growth of our investment business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily, monthly, and ad-hoc Performance and Attribution measurement to Investment and Distribution Teams, and for Investment Oversight with a focus on Credit & Fixed Income, and Multi Asset.
  • Ensure accurate investment analytics for portfolios, including effective duration and spread duration.
  • Generate meaningful insights from portfolio analysis, market data, and industry information, and package these insights for communication to Investment and Distribution teams and Oversight committees within the business.
  • Build dashboards and reporting formats to meet the above objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient framework for generating and validating the accuracy of attribution and investment analytics.
  • Build a strong, positive culture within the team focused on teamwork, collaboration, curiosity, and growth.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure the team is exceeding expectations.

About You

  • You will have an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications, such as a Diploma, Master's, CFA, or CIPM, are highly regarded.
  • You will have at least 5 years of experience in Performance, Analytics, or related roles in funds management, superannuation, or banking.
  • Previous experience in Fixed Income or Multi Asset Attribution is essential.
  • You will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working closely with investment teams and building relationships is essential.
  • People management experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience as a functional stream lead of projects is an advantage.
  • You will have sound organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set and work to priorities and deadlines.
  • You will be highly articulate in written and verbal communication.
