Job Summary:

The Respiratory Fit Tester is a crucial member of the Work Health and Safety team, providing essential health and safety oversight to various industries including Healthcare, Construction, Mining, Gas and Oil, Government and Utilities.

This role involves testing Respiratory masks while teaching individuals the correct wear, use, and maintenance of their Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) for N95/P2, Half Face, and Full Face masks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing of Respiratory masks
  • Train individuals on the proper use, wear, and maintenance of RPE
  • Select suitable Respiratory protection based on customer-specific work environments
  • Maintain daily calibration, upkeep, and operation of equipment
  • Monitor and order stock and consumables as required
  • Prepare end-of-day reports

  • Confident communication with decision-makers, business owners, and employees
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Holds a valid Australian driver's license
  • Strong personal hygiene and presentation standards
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes and work schedules
