Lead Group is looking for an experienced Restructuring Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the insolvency team, you will play a critical advisory role on a broad range of corporate restructuring engagements.
- Organize and manage your own restructuring and bankruptcy portfolio with senior team assistance as needed.
- Prepare creditor reports, administrator reports, liquidator statutory reports, and investigative accounting reports.
- Assist senior team members with trading various enterprises, including cash flow predictions, employee entitlements, and supplier/customer accounts supervision.
- Support senior team members with sophisticated investigations, such as forensic tracing exercises and determining source and use of funds.
- Develop a strong network and participate in business development opportunities.
- 2-5 years of experience in an insolvency team.
- A proactive problem-solving attitude with analytical thinking.
- Excellent planning and time management skills, handling multiple projects and balancing conflicting priorities.
- Intermediate proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, or an equivalent professional degree obtained abroad.
