Renewable Energy Investment Opportunities

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Melbourne and contribute to the growth of renewable energy investments across Australia. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with our investment team, driving innovation and accelerating our mission to transition to a future powered by renewable energy.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can play a key role in building and shaping our future portfolio. This individual will have strong knowledge of the Australian energy sector and be able to demonstrate their expertise through effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of financial modelling, deal processes and team work. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and present them effectively to senior management.

About the Role- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Australian energy sector, including renewable energy technologies and market trends.
- Deal Process: Experience with M&A deal processes, including financial modelling, risk analysis and stakeholder management.
- Team Work: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Modelling: Strong proficiency in financial modelling tools and techniques, with the ability to assess risks and bankability of projects.
- Investment Committee Reporting: Ability to present complex ideas effectively to senior management, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Professional financial qualifications (accountancy, CFA/CA) and/or MBA desirable but not essential.
- Experience: Prior experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of financial modelling, deal processes and team work.
- Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and present them effectively to senior management.
