Emergency Response Officer

This is a critical role within our emergency services organisation, where you will be responsible for responding to emergency incidents and providing life-saving assistance.

As an Emergency Response Officer, you will be part of a highly trained team that operates across various environments, including urban, rural, and remote areas. You will work closely with other emergency responders, as well as members of the community, to provide timely and effective support during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency incidents, such as fires, road crashes, and medical emergencies;
  • Operate emergency response vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation;
  • Provide first aid and resuscitation services, as required;
  • Maintain equipment and resources, ensuring optimal operational readiness;
Requirements:
  • Current valid Blue Card;
  • Manual Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence;
  • Current Apply First Aid Certificate;
  • Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate;
  • Compliance with QFD medical and fitness standards;
  • Criminal History Check;
  • Clinical Psychometric Assessment;
