Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely procurement, receipt, issue, security, and storage of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the supply function to ensure effective inventory management and stock control
  • Coordinate with planning and mechanical personnel to achieve operational targets
  • Proactively manage stock levels of critical spares and consumables
  • Conduct regular stock takes and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports on supply activities

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A high level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices, including inventory management and stock control
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics or supply chain management
