Role

As a senior engineering leader, you will oversee the web engineering team responsible for one of our most valuable subscription products. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the technical direction of our product and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with key stakeholders to translate business goals and requirements into effective engineering solutions and deliverables.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of squad processes and ways of work to improve team capacity and capability.
  • Drive adoption of best practice and ensure engineering decisions align with the project and product engineering strategy.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for yourself and software engineering practices of your team.
  • Establish and maintain a highly motivated and high-performance team culture through one-on-one feedback, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated years in a team leadership role with line management responsibilities (performance reviews, cross-functional teams, working alongside other engineering managers).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with product managers and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A strong understanding of agile development best practices including Scrum and Lean methodologies.
  • A history of high performance and self-improvement for yourself and those around you.
  • A demonstrated ability to influence those around you in order to drive better outcomes.
