Experienced Payroll Specialist Wanted

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining records, and supporting related administrative tasks.

- Prepare and process payroll for all employees
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system
- Assist with preparation of payroll reports and audits as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and regulations pertaining to Payroll
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and payments
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in payroll administration or a related field
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Solid knowledge of Outlook; Excel skills
- Experience with Employment Hero payroll system highly preferred
- Security or Construction industry experience highly preferred
- Understanding of payroll laws, regulations
- Knowledge of and understanding of Industrial Instruments, Awards, Enterprise Agreements
